U2's Spider-Man Musical Gets Back on Track

After months of financial woes and casting changes, rehearsals for Spider-Man: Turn Rosetta Stone language Off the Dark, the Broadway musical featuring songs by U2s Bono and the Edge, will finally begin on August 18th, a spokesperson for the musical told theNew York Times. The $50 million production has yet to announce details about its new premiere date, but actor/singer Reeve Carney, who will play hero Peter Parker, confirmed on his Twitter that choreography rehearsals were already underway. Cummings rep said at the time of his departure, Hes disappointed. Hes been attached to Spider-Man for a year and he was hopeful that it would make it to the stage and hed be a part of it.Bono and the Edge penned original music for Turn Off the Dark, which will be directed by Julie Cheap Rosetta Stone V3 Taymor, who previously worked with the U2 frontman in Across the Universe. Wood also appeared in the Beatles-themed film, and earned rave reviews from Bono. Shes the greatest actor of her generation, shes the one to watch, he said.
